Job summary

The Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) within the Department of Education is seeking a Program Advisor in Melbourne to support infrastructure project delivery across feasibility, tendering and close-out.

You will coordinate across the project lifecycle, collaborate with planning, design, legal and communications teams, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders to manage risks and report on progress to Ministers and senior officers.

Qualifications

• Preference for Architecture/PM/Construction/Engineering qualifications and relevant gov’t experience.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and deliver projects across the lifecycle.
• Strong liaison and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of execution across the project lifecycle from feasibility through tendering to close to ensure milestones and targets are met.
• Collaborate with planning, design, legal and communications teams on project matters.
• Assist in establishing and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders to manage risks and resolve delivery issues.
• Provide clear, timely reporting on project planning, delivery status, and outcomes for Ministers, the Secretary, senior officers and project teams.
