Job summary

Wesley Mission Queensland Limited seeks a Program Manager to lead the Mental Health Community Support Service. You will establish and oversee holistic psychosocial programs, recruit and support peer workers, and drive recovery-focused services while ensuring high standards and funding compliance.

You will build strong partnerships with health services and community organisations, manage governance, risk and reporting, and foster a respectful, person-centred culture aligned with WMQ values.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience within human services, managing programs, teams and budgets.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
• Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and ensure funding and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

• Leading the establishment and ongoing delivery of the Mental Health Community Support Service program.
• Recruiting, onboarding and supporting a high-performing multidisciplinary team, including peer workers.
• Driving development, implementation and continuous improvement of recovery-focused services and group programs.
• Monitoring program performance to meet funding requirements, quality standards and deliverables.
• Building partnerships with mental health services, community organisations and stakeholders.
• Overseeing clinical governance, risk management and service quality with internal leaders.
• Preparing reports, managing program data and ensuring accurate funding and compliance reporting.
• Managing customer feedback, complaints and service improvements while fostering a person-centred culture.
