Job summary

MidCoast Council is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator for a 2 year fixed-term, full-time role based at our Yalawanyi Ganya Administration Centre in Taree. You will coordinate recovery projects from planning through delivery, administer the Flood Recovery and Resilience Grants Program, and manage budgets and reporting to support the community after the 2025 flood disaster.

You will lead community workshops and consultations, bring partners together through the Community Resilience

Qualifications

• Experience in community development, recovery or resilience with a track record of coordinating projects and delivering outcomes.
• Ability to administer grants and budgets and work with diverse groups including residents, community groups, service providers and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate recovery projects from planning through delivery.
• Administer the Community Flood Recovery and Resilience Grants Program.
• Manage budgets and reporting for the program.
• Facilitate community workshops, activities and consultations.
• Bring recovery partners together through the Community Resilience Network and connect community with resources across Council.
