Job summary

Transgrid is seeking a Program Coordinator to provide high‑level administrative, operational and project coordination support to the General Manager of Infrastructure Delivery and General Manager Delivery Services and Strategy Enablement.

You will coordinate governance and project activities, support calendar management, travel, and event coordination, and assist with procurement and cost tracking while liaising with stakeholders to enable effective collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Experience in administrative or project coordination roles.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and document management systems.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate governance and project activities, including meetings, workshops and project forums, preparing agendas, reports, presentations and minutes.
  • Provide executive, project and operational support across the team, including calendar and travel management, event coordination and project documentation.
  • Support procurement, contractor engagement, invoices and cost tracking, and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to enable clear communication.

About the Role:

As as a Program Coordinator, you will provide high-level administrative, operational and project coordination support to the General Manager of Infrastructure Delivery and General Manager Delivery Services and Strategy Enablement. You will:

  • Coordinate governance and project activities, including meetings, workshops and project forums, preparing agendas, reports, presentations and minutes.
  • Provide executive, project and operational supportacross the team, including calendar and travel management, event coordination, project documentation, registers, reporting and records, ensuring information is accurate, accessible and up to date.
  • Facilitate effective project and stakeholder coordination, supporting financial and commercial administration such as procurement, contractor engagement, invoices processing and cost tracking, while acting as a key liaison across internal and external stakeholders to enable clear communication and collaboration.
About You

You are an organised and proactive person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting teams to deliver successful project outcomes. To be successful, you will bring:

  • Experience in administrative, project coordination or program support roles, ideally within infrastructure, construction, engineering, utilities or other project-based environments.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and stakeholder requirements.
  • Strong written and communication skills, with experience preparing reports, presentations, project documentation and correspondence to a high standard.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and document management systems, with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and processes. A current Australian driver’s licence is also required.
