Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Program Controls Governance Manager to support a major naval infrastructure project in Australia. You will oversee governance for project controls, maintain baselines, and provide high-quality reporting to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and successful delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in PMO, program controls, project controls or governance environments.
• Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret project performance information and communicate insights.
• Excellent organisational skills to manage competing priorities.
• Stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
• Attention to detail and data integrity.
• Experience with governance and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with project reporting, dashboards, and performance management tools.
• Ability to work independently and with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• NV1 Australian Government Security Clearance minimum.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project baselines across scope, schedule, cost and resources.
• Manage baseline change control activities and approvals.
• Coordinate program reporting, dashboards and performance updates.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of project data and reports.
• Monitor performance against baselines and identify variances.
• Support governance meetings, reviews and reporting requirements.
• Promote adherence to PMO standards, controls and governance frameworks.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and governance practices.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate project information.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the PMO.
