Global Rotomoulding in Irymple, VIC, is seeking a Production Operator to run our robotic router and carry out plastic welding and finishing on tanks and poly products. This hands-on role suits mechanically minded individuals who value quality and safety.

You will set up jobs, follow drawings and specifications, read production instructions, and maintain accurate records. The position is five days a week with training provided and opportunities for long-term career progression.

Production Worker / Robotic Router Operator & Plastic Welder

Global Rotomoulding is looking for a Production Operator for our Irymple site. You'll operate our robotic router and carry out plastic welding and finishing to complete our tanks and poly products. It’s a hands-on role that suits someone practical and mechanically minded who takes pride in getting things right. This is done under our confined space procedures, and full confined space training is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring our robotic router to cut, drill and finish rotationally moulded products
• Setting up products and making sure programs and specifications are followed
• Checking measurements and finished work, and catching issues before products move to the next stage
• Plastic welding, repairs and finishing on tanks and other poly products
• Reading drawings and job instructions, and completing quality checks and production records
• Using hand and power tools safely
• Keeping your work area clean and organised, and helping with general production duties
