Job summary

Halgan Pty Ltd in Park Ridge, Brisbane, is seeking a Plastic Fabricator and Poly Welder to join our brand new production factory. You will perform plastic fabrication and poly welding, primarily joining large HDPE sections, align parts with hand tools and measuring instruments, and read detailed drawings.

You will work both independently and with the team, ensure the quality of your work, record production details, and uphold safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Previous factory/workshop experience and ability to follow safety requirements.
• Preferably 2 years of experience using extrusion welding and hot air welding equipment and/or Plastic welding certificate.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability.

Responsibilities

About the business

ACO Halgan is a roto-moulding and fabrication manufacturer based in NSW, VIC & QLD that requires a Plastic Fabricator and Poly Welder in our brand new production factory in Park Ridge.

The role requires you to

Perform plastic fabrication and poly welding tasks – primarily joining large HDPE sections.

Aligning parts to be joined using hand tools and measuring instruments.

Examine welds for width of bead, penetration and quality.

Able to read and follow detailed product drawings.

Work independently and as part of a team

Responsible for assuring the quality of their own work.

Record information, such as product details and dates of production.

Be reliable, punctual and dependable.

Skills and experience

You will need to have,
