Job summary

WorkPac Group in Townsville is seeking a reliable labourer to assist in the production of precast concrete products. You will be part of a fast-paced, safety-focused team, starting shifts early at 5am and enjoying long 10+ hour workdays with overtime opportunities.

The role covers general labouring, assisting welders, operating gantry cranes, and, if licensed, HR vehicle operations. Long-term work with a route to permanent conversion is offered, with weekly pay through WorkPac.

Qualifications

• Previous labouring or manufacturing experience.
• Welding experience is highly regarded.
• Gantry crane experience advantageous.
• HR Licence highly desirable.
• Ability to work 10–12 hour shifts starting from 5am.
• Ability to work in hot environments and complete manual tasks.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Assist in production of precast concrete products in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Perform general labouring and assist welders as required.
• Operate gantry cranes and, if licensed, HR vehicles.
• Work in hot conditions and complete manual tasks as part of a productive team.

What You Will Be Doing
