Job summary

Probiotec is seeking a packing operator at our Kemps Creek facility in Sydney. You\'ll work day shift on our packing lines, packing, checking and recording product as part of a shift team.

Full training is provided and own transport is recommended due to limited public transport. You will follow procedures, maintain hygiene and quality rules, handle materials, weigh and sample product, and keep production paperwork accurate.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 10 kg regularly and 10–17 kg occasionally.
• Comfortable standing for a full shift.
• Able to perform repetitive packing tasks while staying focused.
• Willing to work in shifts and follow strict hygiene rules.
• Experience in pharma/food/FMCG packing is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Run packing machines and perform basic settings.
• Load and unload materials and product on the line.
• Check that product is packed to specification.
• Weigh, count and sample product as instructed.
• Fill in production paperwork accurately.
• Clean equipment and work areas.
• Follow procedures and hygiene/quality rules.
• Work safely and report hazards or incidents promptly.

THE ROLE

Probiotec Multipack provides an extensive range of co-packing services for Food & Beverage (HACCP), Personal Care & Household, Animal Health & Nutrition (APVMA) and Pharmaceutical (TGA) companies.

You\'ll work day shift on our packing lines, packing, checking and recording product as part of a shift team. Full training is provided. Own transport is recommended, as public transport to the site is limited.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Run packing machines, including basic machine settings.
• Load and unload materials and product on the line.
• Check product is packed to specification.
• Weigh, count and sample product as instructed.
• Fill in production paperwork accurately.
• Clean equipment and work areas.
• Follow instructions, written procedures and strict hygiene and quality rules.
• Work safely, and report hazards, near misses and incidents straight away.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

• Comfortable standing for a full shift, with repetitive handling and regular bending.
• Able to lift up to 10kg regularly and 10–17kg occasionally. Heavier items are team-lifted.
• Good with your hands, including small, fiddly items.
• Able to stay focused and accurate on repetitive work.
• Comfortable wearing PPE for most of the shift.
• Reliable attendance and happy to work as part of a shift team.
• Packing experience in pharma, food or FMCG is an advantage, not essential.
• Drug and alcohol testing applies on site.
