Job summary

Timbertruss is Australia's leading prefab manufacturer, offering full-time roles across day, afternoon and night shifts in Geelong. Training is provided, no prior experience required, and you will work with timber, tools and machinery to build prefab house frames.

You will perform duties from selecting timber and hardware to quality checks and packaging for delivery, with forklift duties optional if licensed. A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing are required.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training will be provided.
• Hands-on work with timber and tools in a modern facility.
• Willingness to work across day, afternoon and night shifts.

• Operate a range of different machinery to build prefab house frames
• Pick timber and hardware orders
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Strap jobs to be delivered to site

About the Role

We are looking for people who have an interest in working with timber and people who enjoy hands on work. No experience is necessary in this role, as full training will be provided. We are currently recruiting for full-time positions across the below shifts.

Day Shift: Monday - Friday: 6:00am - 2:11pm

Afternoon Shift: Monday - Friday: 2:00pm - 10:11pm

Night Shift: Sunday - Thursday: 10:00pm - 6:11am

Duties

• Use various tools including nail guns, saws, tape measures, hammers etc.
• Operate a range of different machinery to build prefab house frames
• Pick timber and hardware orders
• Perform quality checks on finished products
• Strap jobs to be delivered to site
• Count stock and select timbers for use
• Operate a forklift (if licensed and required)

Please note, all applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing.
