Job summary

ASSA ABLOY in Forest Glen, QLD is seeking Production Team Members to manufacture timber and metal doors for commercial and residential projects. You’ll assemble parts, operate diverse machinery, read drawings, and ensure quality while meeting hourly targets.

Qualifications

• Experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read a tape measure, level, square, and pressure gauge.
• Reliable, team player and able to work independently.
• Commitment to safety and WHS guidelines, wearing PPE.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and adjust components using hand and power tools.
• Operate machinery such as Beam Saws, CNC Routers, Edge Banders, Brake Presses, Turrets, and Laser Cutters.
• Fit components accurately based on job orders.
• Read and interpret workshop drawings.
• Fabricate profiles using bending and cutting machines.
• Identify material types.
• Work to hourly targets and KPIs.
• Conduct quality checks on your own work.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance.
• Keep your work area clean and safe.

What You'll Do

You'll help manufacture high-quality timber and metal doors for commercial and residential projects. Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling and adjusting components using hand and power tools
• Operating machinery such as Beam Saws, CNC Routers, Edge Banders, Brake Presses, Turrets, and Laser Cutters
• Fitting components accurately based on job orders
• Reading and interpreting workshop drawings
• Fabricating profiles using bending and cutting machines
