ASSA ABLOY is seeking a hands-on Service Technician to service, maintain and install industrial roller shutters and entrance solutions across Australia. This field role requires strong mechanical skills and the ability to work independently in diverse customer sites.

Qualifications

• Fabrication, sheet metal or welding experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with industrial machinery or equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems under pressure.
• A proactive and safety-focused mindset.
• Confidence working independently in the field.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Forklift and Scissor Lift licences (desirable).
• Comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Planned and preventative maintenance of industrial doors and entrance systems
• Diagnosis, repair and servicing of equipment in the field
• Installation and commissioning of industrial roller shutters
• Conducting safety inspections to national and local standards
• Identifying and recommending repair and upgrade opportunities

About the Role

As a Service Technician, you’ll be the face of ASSA ABLOY in the field, providing expert service, maintenance and installation support for industrial roller shutters and entrance solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planned and preventative maintenance of industrial doors and entrance systems
• Diagnosis, repair and servicing of equipment in the field
• Installation and commissioning of industrial roller shutters
• Conducting safety inspections to national and local standards
• Identifying and recommending repair and upgrade opportunities
• Working closely with technical support and sales teams
