Job summary

Jobtailor in Ipswich, QLD is seeking an experienced fabricator to manufacture high-quality timber and metal doors for commercial and residential projects. You will read workshop drawings and fabricate components, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery.

Daily duties include assembling parts with hand and power tools, operating beam saws, CNC machines, bending and cutting equipment, and performing quality checks on your own work. Sound communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Sheet Metal or equivalent work experience.
• Welding experience.
• Ability to work within tolerance and ensure product quality.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow direction and work independently.
• Ability to read a tape measure, pressure gauge, level, and square.
• Ability to complete assigned work within the given timeframe and according to specification.
• Ability to operate sheet metal machinery and welding equipment.
