Job summary

BlueScope Building Components in Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Production Team Leader to coordinate the afternoon shift and lead a small operations team. You will work closely with the Operations Supervisor to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality production outcomes.

This permanent role runs Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm; prior manufacturing leadership is preferred, but we welcome strong operators ready to progress.

The Opportunity

BlueScope Building Components is looking for aTeam Leader to join the Production teambased in Novar Gardens, SA. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.

In this hands-on, salaried role, you’ll support the Operations Supervisor to coordinate daily production activities and provide day-to-day leadership to a small team. You’ll balance supporting and guiding others with actively contributing to operational work, helping the team deliver safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.

This is a permanent afternoon-shift position working Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. It’s a great opportunity for an experienced operator ready to step into leadership or an existing Team Leader looking for a new hands‑on opportunity.
