Job summary

BlueScope is offering multiple permanent Operator roles at our Wingfield, SA site within the Processing and Logistics team. You will operate machinery or work in warehousing to produce and ship steel products, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Shifts include days or afternoons, with overtime eligibility and shift loading for the right candidate. We encourage applicants who value safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity

Our Service Centre is looking for Operators in our Processing and Logistics team based in Wingfield, SA. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

We are excited to be offeringmultipleopportunities for permanent operations team members for our Wingfieldplant.Whether you have steel industry experience or not, we are seeking individuals who are keen to further their skills in manufacturing. You will receive ongoing training and support to learn all aspects of thisOperator role allowing for future career development opportunities.

Opportunities exist on dayshift or afternoon shift Working Monday to Friday, both roles are overtime eligibility.

• Dayshift hours are from Monday – Thursday 7am-3pm, Friday 5am-11am
• Afternoon shift hours are fromMonday – Thursday 3pm-11pm, Friday 11am-5pm

The entry level remuneration starts at $33.18/hr = $65,566 per annum, there is also addition shift loading of $348 per fortnight ($9,048 per annum).

What Will You Do?

As an Operator you will work in a continuousproductionenvironment. Your role will be to operatemachinery or work in warehousing to create smarter solutions for our customers, whilemonitoring product quality andremaining committed toyour own safety and that of your team.Working within a collaborative team environment, you’ll receive ongoing training and support. You will:

• successfully contribute to a safe working environment
• operating machinery to manufacturesteel product
• safely pack and strap our steel products
• performing machinery maintenance and cleaning
• be required to use overhead gantry cranes and drive forklifts

Recruitment Process

• completing an online safety assessment (approx. 10 minutes)
• attending anin person interview and site tour
