Optimum SilOz is a family-owned manufacturing business undergoing expansion. We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team at the silo manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and quality-driven operations.

This full-time role, Monday to Friday, offers the opportunity to drive improvements, manage machinery, and uphold quality standards while coaching staff and maintaining production records.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Trade Certificate in metal fabrication or a related field.
• Experience in metal manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the production team to meet schedules and targets.
• Oversee maintenance of production machinery to minimise downtime.

Optimum SilOz is a family-owned manufacturing business during an exciting period of expansion. We're seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to join our team. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be a key leader in our ongoing growth and success.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team and oversee the efficient, safe, and quality-driven manufacturing process of our silo manufacturing facility. The Production Supervisor will ensure that manufacturing targets are met and that all processes adhere to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

This is a fulltime position working Monday-Friday based - 38+ hour week.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead the production team, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently to meet manufacturing schedules.

• Manage and maintain production machinery and equipment, coordinating maintenance to ensure minimal downtime.

• Oversee the quality assurance processes, ensuring products meet stringent quality standards before being released.

• Train and develop production staff, ensuring competencies align with the company’s operational standards.

• Drive improvements in production processes to reduce lead times and improve product availability.

• Ensure all safety and environmental protocols are followed, fostering a safety-first culture.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to improve manufacturing processes and provide feedback on production methods.

• Lead improvement projects to enhance manufacturing performance, quality, and cost-efficiency.

• Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with company software and system accuracy.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering or Trade Certificate in metal fabrication or a related field

Experience

• Experience in metal manufacturing and meeting production targets.

• Competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Solid knowledge of the manufacturing industries.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
