Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a Production Supervisor for a fast-paced packaging environment in Brisbane. You will supervise daily packing operations, directing a team of operators to meet schedules, safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with maintenance, QA, and logistics to maximize throughput, OEE, and efficiency while guiding shift handovers and labour planning in a 24/7 rotating 12-hour roster.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in process manufacturing or automated packing environments.
• FMCG/food manufacturing or packaging operations is highly regarded.
• Mechanical aptitude with exposure to automation, sensors, PLCs, or fault-finding.
• Working collaboratively with maintenance, QA, and logistics teams.
• Continuous improvement frameworks such as LEAN, TPM, or 5S.
• Strong communication, judgement, and people leadership capability.
• Comfortable with rotating shift pattern.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day packing operations and provide clear direction to a team of operators.
• Ensure production schedules, operating instructions, and shift tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
• Coach, develop, and manage performance of packing operators.
• Work closely with maintenance on fault-finding and troubleshooting.

• Leadership within a process manufacturing or automated packing environment

• Working collaboratively with maintenance, QA, and logistics teams
