Job summary

CSL Behring in Melbourne seeks a Shift Lead to join the Turner Filling Manufacturing team. You will support frontline leaders, drive safe, compliant manufacturing and foster continuous improvement, quality and engagement. This 24/7 facility requires flexibility for afternoon/night shifts and weekends.

You will lead a production team to meet schedules, champion GMP, investigate deviations, and develop staff through coaching and training while prioritising safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership experience within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, food, or other highly regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and quality systems.
• Experience leading and developing frontline manufacturing or operations teams.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and continuous improvement capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple functions.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Shift Lead to join our Manufacturing team (Turner Filling). In this role, you will provide support to the frontline leaders for the filling operations area, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient execution of manufacturing activities while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and employee engagement.

You will lead a team of manufacturing professionals, drive operational excellence, and ensure production targets are achieved in accordance with GMP, safety, and quality standards.

This role is part of a facility which operates 24/7 and therefore you must be available to work on shift patterns including afternoon / night shifts and weekends/public holidays.

Multiple positions available.
