Ensign Laboratories is seeking an experienced Line Setter / Machine Setter for day and afternoon shifts in Monash, Australia. You will set up, calibrate, and maintain production equipment, perform changeovers, and ensure product quality in a GMP-driven environment.

You will work on a fast-paced line with a focus on safety and efficiency, following SOPs and using EJS for documentation. Australian working rights are required for this full-time role.

Qualifications

• High mechanical aptitude and experience with machinery.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Deep knowledge of GMP and OH&S practices.

• Experience changing over and operating lines in FMCG or pharmaceutical environments.

Responsabilités

• Maintain GMP compliance, cleanliness, quality and safety.

Are you a skilled manufacturing professional with a high mechanical aptitude and experience in fast-paced production environments? We are looking for an experiencedLine Setter / Machine Setter with positions available for Day shift and Afternoon shift, ensuring seamless and efficient operation of our production line while maintaining our high standards for safety and quality.

Day shift operates 6am -2.20pm and Afternoon shift from 2:00 – 22:20pm

As a Line Setter / Machine Setter, you will be responsible for setting up, size changing, calibrating, and maintaining equipment, coordinating efficient production processes, operating the line, troubleshooting issues, and monitoring product quality. This is a hands‑on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Ensure all work complies with GMP, maintaining cleanliness, quality, and safety standards.
• Efficient Line Management: Complete tasks to keep production running smoothly, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
• Equipment Changeover: Complete precise changeovers of bottle, tube, sachet & tube filing line equipment within specified timeframes.
• Troubleshooting: Quickly resolve and adjust equipment issues to reduce wastage and maintain high-quality output.
• Product Quality Monitoring: Inspect product quality during production, making necessary adjustments to maintain standards.
• Documentation: Use EJS (Electronic Job Sheets) and other systems to complete necessary documentation and reporting.
• Training and Compliance: Engage in ongoing training in SOPs, GMP, and OH&S

Experience and Requirements

• Industry Experience: Experience in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetic, Food, Packaging, Automotive, or other FMCG sectors is desirable.
• Technical Skills: Natural technical abilities is essential. experience with setting up, adjusting for changeovers, operating & troubleshooting is a key requirement.
