Job summary

Morson Edge Australia in Yass, NSW, is seeking an experienced Production Planner for a key role in our fast-paced food manufacturing site. You will create daily and weekly production schedules and balance capacity, labour and material availability to meet customer demand.

You will coordinate closely with procurement, warehousing and production teams, monitor inventory to minimise waste and optimise stock turns, and support S&OP and forecasting activities for continuous improvement.

Are you an experienced Production Planner who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're partnering with a well-established food manufacturing business based in Yass that is looking to strengthen their operations team with a proactive and detail-driven planner.

This is a key role within the site, responsible for ensuring production runs smoothly, efficiently and in line with customer demand.

The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Creating and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules
• Balancing capacity, labour, and material availability
• Coordinating closely with procurement, warehousing, and production teams
• Monitoring inventory levels to minimise waste and optimise stock turns
• Identifying bottlenecks and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
• Supporting S&OP processes and forecasting activities
