Job summary

CSR Limited is seeking a hands-on Production Operator for the Interior Systems team in Penrose. You'll participate in daily production, ensure quality, and work closely with supervisors to support both manufacturing and warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates have manufacturing or warehousing experience, strong attention to detail, and a proactive safety mindset. On-the-job training and team collaboration are key, with opportunities to grow technically and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete daily production activities in line with customer orders and production schedules.
• Measure, cut, assemble, cap, finish, quality-check, and package products.
• Operate production equipment (saws, guillotines) after training and authorization.
• Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Complete production documentation and material usage records accurately.
• Report faults, safety concerns, shortages, or delays promptly.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support warehouse operations.
• Cross-train across multiple production processes.

Job description

We're looking for a hands‑on, safety‑focused Production Operator to join our Interior Systems team in Penrose. If you enjoy working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, take pride in producing quality work, and are committed to working safely every day, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Role

As a Production Operator, you'll play an important role in the day‑to‑day production of customer orders, ensuring products are manufactured accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with the DC Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and wider team to support both production and warehouse operations.

Work hours

Monday to Friday, 7am to 330pm

Key Responsibilities

• Safely complete daily production activities in line with customer orders and production schedules.
• Measure, cut, assemble, cap, finish, quality‑check, and package products.
• Operate production equipment, including saws and guillotines, once trained and authorised.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Complete production documentation and material usage records accurately.
• Report equipment faults, safety concerns, material shortages, or production delays.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support efficient warehouse operations.
• Participate in cross‑training to develop skills across multiple production processes.
