Job summary

CSR Limited is hiring a Production Operator in Brendale, QLD. This full-time role involves operating fixed and mobile plant, performing quality checks and ensuring production targets are met on a 4 days on/4 days off, 12-hour shift pattern (days and nights).

You will unload, stage materials, report faults and contribute to safety initiatives while maintaining high product standards. Forklift licensing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have current Forklift license preferred.
• Willingness to work rotating 4x4 roster.
• Strong safety and quality focus required.

Responsibilities

About the role

The Production Operator roleis a Full-Time position, based at Brendale, QLD. Reporting to the Production Supervisor you will be responsible for operating a range of fixed and mobile plant in a dynamic environment to manufacture high-quality products.

Shift Pattern:4 days on / 4 days off, with 12-hour shifts. The shifts rotate between day (06:00-18:00) and night (18:00-06:00).

In this role you will:

• Operating machinery and ensuring materials are produced to the commercial standard, performing quality checks as required.
• Identify and report equipment and product faults.
• Unload and stage (put away) various products.
• Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
• Housekeeping and other duties as required.
• Forklift driving required and complete pre-start checklists.

What you bring to the role

• A great work ethic and strong commitment to safe work practices & high regard for safety
• Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multiple stage continuous manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.
• A current Forklift license with experience is preferred
• Willingness to work a rotating roster.
• Strong understanding of production operations
• Ability to interact well with others and join the team
• The ability to multitask in a fast paced, ever-changing environment
• High attention to detail, with good mechanical mind and trouble shooting ability
