Job summary

AustCorp Executive is seeking a Production Operator for our Wacol, Brisbane site. The role offers day, afternoon, and night shifts in a modern plant environment producing chemical and construction products.

The ideal candidate has production/manufacturing experience, a current forklift licence, and good teamwork. This is a full-time position with shift loadings and potential for further opportunities based on performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, batching or processing.
• A current forklift licence (essential).
• Comfort working in a dusty or chemical environment, with respirator when required.
• Good physical fitness for regular manual handling.
• Basic computer skills and clear communication.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to pass a medical and drug/alcohol screen.
• Availability to commit to the full six-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and manufacturing equipment.
• Load raw materials for blending, mixing and processing.
• Monitor production processes and product quality.
• Bag, package and palletise finished products.
• Move materials around site by forklift.
• Complete production paperwork and basic computer entries.
• Keep a clean, safe work area.
