Job summary

Dynamic Staffing Solutions, located in Smithfield NSW, is seeking a Production & Operations Support professional to assist with day-to-day factory production requirements. The role covers aluminium and timber windows and doors manufactured in-house and supplied to residential builders around Sydney and regional NSW.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in production, operations support or a similar role.
• Background in manufacturing, construction, glazing or related operational environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with ERP or business systems; Oracle experience highly regarded.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety processes and compliance documentation.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail, initiative and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and update processes and procedures.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and support practical improvements across manufacturing.
• Maintain accurate data, operational reports and KPI tracking.
• Troubleshoot operational and system issues, including Oracle ERP, and escalated as required.
• Provide day-to-day support across production, scheduling, service and administration.
• Maintain operational records, documentation and compliance requirements.
• Provide backup support to Scheduling and Service teams during busy periods and staff leave.
• Assist with workplace safety documentation, compliance activities and action tracking.
• Liaise with site leaders and stakeholders to resolve issues and improve operational efficiency.

About Us

Located in Smithfield this manufacturer of windows and doors products is looking for a Production & Operations Support person to assist with the day-to-day production requirements of the factory.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will support daily manufacturing operations, scheduling, service and business systems while helping improve processes, solve problems and support the wider team. You will have the opportunity to be involved in a range of aluminium and timber windows and doors that are manufactured in-house and supplied to residential builders around the Sydney and regional NSW.

Tasks & Responsibilities
