Job summary

The Personnel Connection in North Rocks NSW 2151 is seeking a Production / Manufacturing Operator to join a hands-on, established engineering and manufacturing environment. You will operate equipment, monitor processes and perform quality checks on PTFE/PEEK products.

We value practical, reliable individuals with a strong work ethic who can follow procedures and work well in a team. Forklift experience is helpful but not required.

Production / Manufacturing Operator – North Rocks

$33 – $38 per hour | Full-time | North Rocks NSW

Are you practical, reliable and looking for a hands-on manufacturing role with an established engineering company?

Our client is a reputable engineering and manufacturing organisation specialising in custom-compounded PTFE and PEEK products, including compression-moulded rods, tubes and sheets.

They are looking for a reliable and motivated Production / Manufacturing Operator to join their team in North Rocks NSW 2151.

About the Role

This is a hands-on production position where you'll be involved in manufacturing specialised engineering products used across a range of industries.

Working as part of an experienced production team, you'll operate manufacturing equipment, monitor production processes and carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet the company's standards.

You don't need to be an expert in PTFE or PEEK. We're looking for someone who is practical, dependable, safety-conscious and willing to learn.

Previous manufacturing, production or machine-operating experience would be an advantage.

What You'll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operating and monitoring manufacturing and production equipment
• Producing compression-moulded PTFE and PEEK products
• Following production procedures and work instructions
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
• Identifying and reporting production or equipment issues
• Assisting with basic equipment maintenance where required
• Working with other team members to meet production requirements
