Element Solutions Inc's Ashby site seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day manufacturing operations, driving safety, quality and continuous improvement, and building high-performing teams.

You will report to the Operations Director, manage Supervisors, Team Leaders, Blenders and Operatives, and work with HR to implement policies and ensure on-time, on-budget production. The role emphasizes Lean, 5S and staff development.

Qualifications

• Advanced manufacturing or operations qualification preferred.
• Proven experience in Production Manager or similar leadership role.
• Solid understanding of health & safety legislation in manufacturing.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S and continuous improvement.
• Experience in handling employee-related matters and workforce development.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI data interpretation.
• Commitment to ongoing training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the production team to achieve operational objectives.
• Drive a world-class Health & Safety culture and ensure policy compliance.
• Represent production in management meetings with updates on Safety, Quality, and Continuous Improvement.
• Analyze production data and KPI trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Manage HR-related matters and ensure consistent policy application.
• Optimize resources to maximize productivity and quality.
• Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs.
• Lead Lean and 5S initiatives to drive operational excellence.
• Maintain accurate production records and timely management reports.
