This position plays a key role in aligning design, production, and logistics to ensure products are delivered on time, to budget, and to an exceptional quality standard.
The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of production and manufacturing processes. You’ll be responsible for driving operational efficiency, maintaining supplier partnerships, and supporting the business in achieving its commercial and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimise all aspects of product operations, including sourcing, production planning, supplier management, purchasing, and cost control.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration between design, production, and logistics teams to deliver on business objectives.
- Manage production timelines, budgets, and critical paths to guarantee on-time delivery and product quality.
- Negotiate pricing, production schedules, and supplier agreements to meet margin and efficiency targets.
- Monitor supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement across lead times, capacity, and risk management.
- Oversee freight management and logistics, ensuring transport costs remain within budget and aligned with sustainability targets.
- Manage raw material procurement, approvals, and inventory through to delivery at third-party logistics partners.
- Lead seasonal planning for materials and product flows, factoring in international supply chain timelines.
- Maintain accurate data and reporting across costing, inventory, purchase orders, and shipment tracking systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a product or production management role within fashion or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven success managing end-to-end production cycles across local and offshore manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of both CMT and FOB production models.
- Expertise in fabrications and knitwear highly regarded.
- Strong commercial and analytical capability, with experience in cost and margin management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a collaborative, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in systems management and operational reporting.
- Experience with AP21 is essential
