Job summary

Boral Cement's Marulan Lime Works is seeking a hands-on Production and Maintenance Manager to lead production, maintenance and site support. You will manage a sizeable team, coordinate shifts, ensure delivery against forecast volume and quality, and uphold safety and environmental standards.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will drive performance, coach staff, monitor equipment utilisation, and champion continuous improvement across a diverse operation that supplies downstream businesses

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, mining or manufacturing, ideally in cement or lime.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Commitment to safety and environmental standards.
• Knowledge of maintenance systems and fixed plant upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production: manage production, quality, environment and site support to meet forecast volume and spec.
• Run the shifts: coordinate day-to-day operations to meet budget, efficiency and quality targets.
• Drive performance: monitor plant utilisation, capacity and technical performance and lead corrective actions.
• Keep the plant reliable: coordinate maintenance of fixed plant and site mobile equipment.
• Protect our licence to operate: meet statutory obligations and environmental standards.
• Grow your people: coach, mentor and manage performance.
• Lead on safety: promote safety policies and deliver safety KPIs and programs.
