Job summary

Boral Cement in New South Wales seeks a Production and Maintenance Manager for the Marulan Lime Works. You will lead production and maintenance, managing a sizeable team and reporting to the General Manager Maldon and Marulan Lime.

This hands-on role focuses on safety, reliability and performance, delivering on forecast volumes while developing people and driving continuous improvement across plant and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, mining or manufacturing, ideally in cement or lime.
• Tertiary qualification in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering.
• Knowledge of continuous process industries and heavy machinery.
• Understanding of maintenance systems and fixed plant maintenance.
• Bias for action and strong safety focus.
• Proven people leadership with ability to build trust and lead.

Responsibilities

• Deliver production: manage production, technical, quality, environment and site support activities.
• Run the shifts: coordinate day-to-day operations to meet targets safely.
• Drive performance: monitor plant utilisation and lead corrective action.
• Keep the plant reliable: coordinate maintenance of fixed plant and equipment.
• Manage costs: keep operating costs within budgets.
• Protect our licence to operate: meet environmental and community standards.
• Lift quality: work with Quality Manager to apply quality systems.
• Grow your people: coach and develop a skilled team.
• Lead on safety: promote safety policies and KPIs.
