Boral Cement, based at our Somerton site near Melbourne, is recruiting for a site leader to run day-to-day operations, prioritise safety, and ensure budget compliance. The role involves managing maintenance, silo servicing, stock control and the ISOtainer network across Victoria and Tasmania, with occasional travel to other cement sites.

You will lead a 24/7 operation, supervise contractors, and drive continuous improvement in safety, cost control and reliability while aligning with finance

Formación

• Solid experience in a similar industrial or civil environment, such as cement, concrete, bulk materials or manufacturing, including 24/7 sites.
• A strong mechanical understanding, and experience managing inventory, maintenance programs and contractors.
• A track record of delivering to budget and EBIT targets, and a commitment to building a safety culture.
• Strong communication and organisation skills, and experience with Microsoft Office, Oracle and Maximo. A trade or tertiary qualification and relevant tickets are desirable.

Your next opportunity

Based at our Somerton cement site, you’ll run the site day to day, keeping it safe, compliant and on budget. You’ll look after our safety standards and the servicing of our silos. You’ll also manage site stock, maintenance and our ISOtainer network across Victoria and Tasmania, and help us hit our budget and cost targets.

This role requires availability Monday to Friday, with on-call cover on weekends. You’ll need to be flexible and willing to travel to our cement sites across the state.

Your day will involve:
