Job summary

Boral is seeking a site-based Maintenance Lead at our quarry in New South Wales. You will own maintenance strategy, drive OEE improvements, and lead a team to ensure reliable and cost-effective plant operations.

You will manage commissioning and shutdowns, coach staff, and maintain strong safety and regulatory compliance. The role offers growth within a large, diverse quarry network and direct impact on asset performance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent).
• Demonstrated supervision/management experience in quarrying, mining or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of OEE and continuous improvement with measurable results.
• Proficiency with CMMS platforms (Maximo/Oracle) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the maintenance strategy across fixed and mobile plant.
• Drive OEE improvement by tracking availability, performance and quality metrics.
• Lead a continuous improvement culture within the maintenance team.
• Control site R&M budget and develop CAPEX business cases for safety/reliability gains.
• Lead major maintenance planning and shutdowns, coordinating resources and contractors.
