Job summary

Second Act Arts Inc. is seeking a proactive Production Support Officer to help deliver Chronicle across Western Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

The role involves coordinating venue bookings, logistics and schedules for a casual, project-based assignment in Perth, with travel to regional WA and interstate locations. The position runs roughly from October 2026 to May 2027, with hours varying from light to busy weeks and some evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• Organised and reliable with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Confident communication with a wide range of people.
• Able to solve practical production problems independently.
• Experience in events, theatre, arts production, festivals or community projects is valued.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate venue bookings, access and event logistics.
• Obtain quotes and arrange equipment hire, collection, delivery and returns.
• Support production schedules, run sheets and packs.
• Coordinate interviews, rehearsals and cast calls.
• Liaise with performers, venues, councils and partners.
• Arrange flights, accommodation and ground transport.
• Assist with front-of-house, bar and volunteer activities.
• Support publicity distribution and follow-up.
• Maintain production trackers and deadlines.
