Job summary

MyModular is seeking an experienced Production Lead to run our daily manufacturing operations in Adelaide. You’ll coordinate people and resources to deliver quality products safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while driving continuous improvement.

You’ll lead by example, support and develop the team, and promote a culture where everyone feels respected and empowered to do their best work. Experience in electrical manufacturing or assembly is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture and ensure health and safety requirements are followed.
• Monitor performance, address downtime and drive efficiency.
• Keep management informed about performance and staffing needs.

About the Role

You’ll take responsibility for the day to day running of production, coordinating people and resources to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

You’ll also play a key role in supporting and developing our team. We want someone who leads by example, communicates openly and creates an environment where people feel respected, included and able to do their best work.

What you’ll be responsible for

• Coordinating daily manufacturing operations, labour and resources to meet production schedules and targets
• Leading, developing and supporting Area Leaders and production team members
• Maintaining product quality and compliance with relevant Australian Standards and ISO 9001 procedures
• Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring workplace health and safety requirements are followed
• Monitoring production performance, addressing downtime and identifying ways to improve efficiency
• Keeping management informed about production performance, staffing needs, quality issues and operational challenges

About You

You’ll bring experience in production supervision or manufacturing leadership, along with the confidence to guide a team and keep operations moving.

You’ll also have:

• Strong people leadership skills and a genuine interest in helping others develop
• A sound understanding of workplace health and safety, quality systems and continuous improvement
• Good organisation, communication and problem-solving skills
• A practical, proactive approach and a clear focus on accountability and results

Experience in electrical manufacturing or assembly would be an advantage, but it’s not essential. We’re interested in people with relevant leadership experience who are ready to learn our products and processes.
