Job summary

Our client, a well-established builder on the Sunshine Coast, is seeking an experienced Production Estimator to deliver accurate production estimates across a high-volume residential portfolio. You will work on detached housing products including investor homes, owner-occupier homes, terraces, and select custom projects.

You will report to an Estimating Manager and play a key role in pricing, procurement support, and the maintenance of pricing databases.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production estimating experience.
• Residential construction experience.
• Experience with estimating software platforms.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

Your new role

Reporting to an experienced Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate production estimates across a high-volume residential construction portfolio. You'll work across a range of detached housing products including investor homes, owner-occupier homes, terrace homes and selected custom projects.

Key responsibilities

• Preparing and compiling bills of quantities
• Producing production and variation estimates
• Managing purchase order overruns
• Assisting with supplier and subcontractor pricing
• Supporting procurement processes where required
• Maintaining pricing databases and standard house plans.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in Production Estimating
• Residential construction industry experience
• Experience using estimating software platforms
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
