Job summary

Foodbank Victoria is seeking a Production Controller based in our Altona warehouse to coordinate daily production, stock allocation and inventory control. You will work closely with Warehouse, Logistics and sourcing teams to ensure accurate internal transactions and timely distribution of quality fresh produce.

If you bring experience in fresh produce, strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, you will help the team maintain high standards while supporting volunteers and staff

Qualifications

• Experience in fresh produce wholesaling, inventory management, warehouse operations or a similar supply chain environment.
• High level of attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production, stock allocation and inventory control activities.
• Ensure inventory accuracy across our systems and processes.
• Help ensure fresh produce makes its way into distribution streams.
• Pick orders, monitor stock levels, perform quality checks and process internal transactions.
• Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team and engage with staff and volunteers daily.
• Work closely with Warehouse, Logistics and Sourcing teams.

Looking to apply your inventory and operational coordination skills in a purpose-driven organisation?

The Production Controller supports our teams to ensure internal stock transactions are completed accurately and efficiently, and that we get quality fresh produce to where it needs to be. Based in our Altona warehouse, this role works closely with Warehouse, Logistics and other internal stakeholders, contributing to the coordination of inventory and warehouse operations.
