Job summary

Peta + Jain, based in Caringbah, NSW, seeks a Production/Buyers Assistant to support the buying team in fashion accessories. You will manage orders, product setup, supplier liaison, and product data across systems while ensuring timely delivery and market-aligned product information.

Strong organisational and communication skills are essential, with proficiency in Excel, Shopify, CIN7, and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production or buying or similar admin role will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High attention to detail and the ability to proactively follow up.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Documents, Shopify and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Assist buyer with order raising and barcode creation.
• Create products and maintain product data across internal systems.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information and maintain relationships.
• Oversee and coordinate tracking of product samples for timely availability.
• Coordinate inbound shipments to ensure timely warehouse delivery.
• Assist the Buyer in communications from wholesale customers.
• Conduct market research to stay informed about trends and demands.
• Communicate with Marketing and Operations to support clear product messaging.
• Create products and product copy in Shopify.
• Manage and create products in CIN7.

At Peta + Jain, we love all things fashion and are looking for a Production/Buyers Assistant to join our team. We are looking for a proactive and motivated individual with attention to detail and love of all things fashion.

Based at our head office in Caringbah, you will provide administrative support to the buying team across all facets of the buying and design category.

About the Role

Assist buyer with order raising and barcode creation

Create products and maintain product data across all internal systems

Liaise with suppliers to obtain product information and maintain supplier relationships.

Oversee and coordinate the tracking of product samples to ensure timely availability.

Coordinate and track inbound product shipments to ensure timely and accurate warehouse delivery.

Assist the Buyer in communication and requests from wholesale customers

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and customer demands.

Communicate with internal stakeholders across Marketing and Operations to assist in delivering clear messaging around product releases and delivery

Creation of products and product copy in Shopify

Management and creation of products in CIN7

What We’re Looking For
