Job summary

Aline is seeking a Production Assembly Worker to join its Operations team in Sydney. You will assemble and test pumps and enclosures, ensuring each unit meets quality and safety standards before leaving the floor.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll collaborate with the production team and move between pump types as production changes. A strong hands-on approach, reliability, and commitment to safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have hands-on manufacturing experience and an eye for quality and safety.
• Forklift licence is preferred and helps handling materials.
• A background in pump systems is advantageous, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pumps and enclosures per drawings and instructions.
• Inspect and test pumps for leaks, performance and alignment.
• Meet production targets while upholding safety and quality.
• Use and maintain assembly tools and equipment.
• Handle and store components and materials with care.
• Keep accurate records and checklists.
• Troubleshoot basic assembly issues and escalate complex ones.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Suggest ideas to improve efficiency, quality and safety.
• Move between pump types and lines as production needs change.

About the role

As a Production Assembly Worker, you’ll assemble and test our pumps and enclosures, making sure every unit meets our quality and safety standards before it leaves the floor. You’ll report to the Production Manager and work closely with the production team.

What you’ll be doing

• Assembling different types of pumps and enclosures from assembly instructions and technical drawings


• Inspecting and testing finished pumps for leaks, performance and alignment


• Meeting production targets while keeping quality and safety front of mind


• Using and maintaining assembly tools and equipment


• Handling and storing components and materials carefully


• Keeping accurate records and checklists


• Troubleshooting basic assembly issues and escalating anything more complex


• Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe


• Suggesting ideas to improve efficiency, quality and safety


• Moving between pump types and assembly lines as production needs change

What you’ll bring

• A current forklift licence (preferred)


• Manufacturing or mechanical experience (preferred)


• Experience with pump systems (a bonus, not essential)


• Good hands-on skills, manual dexterity and attention to detail
