Job summary

NEC Australia is seeking an experienced Product Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership across our Public Safety solutions portfolio. You will work with Product Managers, Engineering, Pre-Sales and customers to shape architecture, influence roadmaps and deliver innovative solutions for emergency services and critical responders across ANZ.

The role requires deep technical knowledge in solution and software architecture, SaaS platforms, and strong ability to translate complex concepts

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience across software, systems, infrastructure or solution engineering environments.
• Significant experience in Solution Architecture, Software Architecture or Senior Software Engineering roles.
• Experience providing technical leadership and influencing technology strategy.
• Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and product-based business models.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working within structured project environments and delivering to project milestones.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across applications and infrastructure.
• Experience with application integration technologies, APIs, SDKs, messaging technologies, scripting and automation.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Windows domain environments.
• Working knowledge of: Windows Server, Linux/Unix, MySQL and/or SQL Server, VMware or Hyper-V.
• Emergency Services, Control Room or Public Safety systems experience.
• Exposure to CAD, critical communications or emergency response systems.
• Knowledge of radio technologies including UHF/VHF, PTToC and P25.
• Experience within PABX, IP Telephony or Contact Centre environments.

NEC Australia is seeking an experienced Product Solutions Engineer to provide technical leadership across our Public Safety solutions portfolio. Working closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Pre-Sales and customers, you'll help define product architecture, influence roadmaps, and deliver innovative solutions that support emergency services and critical response agencies across ANZ.

What You'll Be Doing

Act as the technical SME for NEC's Public Safety solutions.
