Job summary

UST is seeking a Product Owner to lead the development and success of enterprise applications, bridging business stakeholders, customers, and engineering in a fast-paced environment. You will define vision and roadmaps, conduct market research, write user stories and acceptance criteria, manage the backlog, and collaborate with engineering to deliver scalable, data-driven B2B solutions.

A proven track record in agile practices and cross-functional leadership is required.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Product Owner/Manager roles for enterprise applications.
  • Experience with B2B enterprise customers and complex user requirements.
  • Proven track record launching and scaling applications.
  • Experience in agile/scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of product lifecycle and deployment models.
  • Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, ProductBoard, and Figma.

Responsibilities

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development and success of enterprise applications. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering applications in B2B environments, deep understanding of application lifecycle management, and the ability to drive product strategy and execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and communicate clear product vision, roadmap, and strategy aligned with business objectives
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the application landscape
  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new features and product releases
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to inform product decisions
  • Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog using agile methodologies
  • Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams
  • Conduct requirements workshops with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical specifications
  • Ensure backlog is groomed, refined, and ready for sprint planning
Stakeholder Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including enterprise clients, sales, marketing, customer success, and executive leadership
  • Communicate product updates, timelines, and dependencies to all stakeholders
  • Manage expectations and navigate competing priorities across the organization
  • Act as the voice of the customer within the product team
Collaboration with Engineering
  • Work closely with engineering leads and architects to ensure technical feasibility and scalability
  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Support problem-solving during product development and identify risks early
  • Balance business requirements with technical constraints
  • Conduct customer discovery sessions and user interviews to understand pain points and needs
  • Participate in customer advisory boards and feedback sessions
  • Monitor customer adoption and usage patterns
  • Identify feature requests and enhancement opportunities from enterprise accounts
Analytics & Performance Monitoring
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for product features and releases
  • Monitor application performance, user adoption rates, and engagement metrics
  • Generate insights and reports for leadership on product health and impact
  • Use data-driven approach to validate hypotheses and inform decisions
Product Launches & Rollouts
  • Lead cross-functional product launches including coordinating with marketing, sales enablement, and customer success
  • Create product documentation and training materials
  • Develop rollout plans and manage release timelines
Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role managing enterprise applications
  • Proven experience managing B2B applications with complex user requirements and enterprise customers
  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling applications
  • Experience working in agile/scrum environments
  • Strong understanding of application development lifecycle and deployment models
  • Familiarity with product management tools (JIRA, Confluence, ProductBoard, Figma, etc.)
  • Ability to understand technical architecture, APIs, and system integrations
  • Experience with analytics tools and basic understanding of data models
