Job summary
IPD Group is seeking a commercially minded Product Manager - ACB, MCCB, 1000V & TFSW to lead a key LV switchgear portfolio across Australia. You will own end-to-end lifecycle, launches, pricing, inventory, promotions, and tender support, coordinating with sales, suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive growth.
Based in Sydney with national scope, you will develop targeted plans, train teams, monitor market trends, and ensure quality processes while travelling to key sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Qualification as an Electrical Engineer or qualified trade electrician or equivalent experience.
- Experience in a Product Management role preferred.
- Proven track record in LV switchgear and channel strategies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end management of LV switchgear portfolio including launches, pricing, inventory and promotions.
- Develop and implement targeted business and marketing plans to drive growth.
- Deliver technical training programs for sales teams and customers.
- Assist sales with tender preparation and submissions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve product and quality issues.
- Build relationships with suppliers and key customers; drive awareness and growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity; identify opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System processes.
