Job summary

Transport for NSW is seeking a Product Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of products and features, from ideation through launch and continuous improvement. You’ll focus on practical, customer-focused solutions that align with TfNSW goals and improve accessibility and travel experiences across NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience managing products from planning through to launch and ongoing improvement.
• Strong analytical skills using customer insights, data and research.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building with business, design and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leading end-to-end delivery of products, features, or capabilities, managing planning, design, build, launch, and ongoing improvement to deliver high-quality outcomes within a product domain.
• Gathering and analysing customer insights, market trends, research and data to identify opportunities, inform decisions, and shape product improvements.
• Defining and refining user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements, aligning scope and priorities across business, design, and technical teams.
• Acting as Product Owner within delivery teams, guiding design, development, and testing to ensure solutions meet customer and business needs.
• Monitoring product performance and key metrics, identifying optimisation opportunities, and driving post-launch improvements and roadmap updates.
• Developing product roadmaps, contributing to planning and prioritisation, championing the customer perspective, and collaborating with stakeholders to manage dependencies and maintain alignment across teams.
