Job summary

Workyard in Sydney is seeking an experienced engineer to own the end-to-end lifecycle of software products. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape ideas, build, ship, measure, and iterate in a fast-paced environment.

You will work primarily on React frontend and Laravel backend hosted on AWS, with native iOS/Android apps. The role is hybrid, based in the Sydney office (2 days in person), reporting to the Head of Product.

Responsibilities

• Own the full product lifecycle from discovery to production and iteration.
• Partner with PMs and engineers to shape, design and ship features.
• Decide what to build and what to leave out, tied to customer impact.
• Mentor peers to improve code and design quality as the team grows.
• Balance speed and quality to deliver reliable software.
