Job summary

Krumbled Foods is seeking an experienced Food Technologist to join our Product Development team in NSW. You will support end-to-end product development, combining hands-on formulation and flavour development with regulatory compliance and technical documentation.

This role requires practical experience in powders and bars, strong knowledge of FSANZ rules, HACCP principles, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with suppliers and internal

Qualifications

Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or related discipline.
Experience in practical formulation and flavour development.
Strong knowledge of FSANZ requirements and food regulation compliance.
Experience with technical documentation, claims substantiation and HACCP.
Excellent attention to detail and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Support end-to-end new product development and existing product improvements.
Conduct bench trials, formulation and flavour development, especially powders and bars.
Ensure FSANZ compliance and relevant food regulations.
Prepare and maintain NIPs, formulations, product specs, allergen declarations and labels.
Apply QA/QC and HACCP principles throughout development and manufacturing.
Work with suppliers and internal teams to source ingredients and manage projects.
Review BOMs for formulation accuracy and cost control.
