Job summary

Lovisa Holdings Limited is seeking a Product Development Lead to drive trend-led jewellery and packaging from concept through to prototype approval. You will develop innovative products, lead multi‑category design and turn insights into commercially successful ranges.

Research global trends, create mood boards and technical specifications with Illustrator and Photoshop, and collaborate with our Buying Team and suppliers to ensure on‑time delivery and brand consistency across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development, product design, jewellery, fashion or a similar industry.
• Strong understanding of seasonal and ongoing trend analysis, including colours, materials and jewellery trends.
• Strong commercial eye and understanding of customer needs.
• The ability to translate trends into cohesive product stories and ranges.
• Experience working with suppliers and managing product development from concept to delivery.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative new products and packaging that keep Lovisa ahead of the market.
• Lead trend-inspired design direction and multi-category product development aligned to the Lovisa handwriting and our customer.
• Research global, high-street and designer trends to identify emerging colours, materials, components and jewellery trends.
• Develop research packs, mood boards and trend reports to influence upcoming ranges.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Work closely with the Buying Team to understand upcoming product and packaging requirements.
• Partner with our global supplier base throughout the product development process.
• Collaborate with our in-house Graphic Design Team on packaging requirements and ensure critical path deadlines are met.
• Work with suppliers to maintain consistency across plating and component quality.
• Obtain compliance and testing information for new product innovations outside of the current Lovisa compliance manual.
• Present ideas, concepts and trend insights to the wider Product Team and Chief Product Officer.

We’re looking for someone who is creative, commercially driven and highly trend aware, with the ability to move quickly in a fast‑paced product environment.

• Experience in product development, product design, jewellery, fashion or a similar industry.

• A strong understanding of seasonal and ongoing trend analysis, including colours, materials and jewellery trends.

• A highly developed commercial eye and understanding of customer needs.

• StrongCAD, Illustrator and Photoshop skills.

• The ability to translate trends into cohesive product stories and ranges.

• Experience working with suppliers and managing product development from concept through to delivery.

• A strong understanding of critical paths, deadlines and speed to market.

• The ability to react quickly to emerging market and sales trends.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
