Job summary

CSR is seeking a Product Development Engineer – Building Products in Wetherill Park, NSW to join our Customer Solutions team. You will research, design, test, and commercialise new insulation and ventilation products, working closely with Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Technical teams to move concepts to market.

You will contribute to product performance, compliance, sustainability and growth while engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level degree in Mechanical/Structural/Mechatronics, Electrical or related field.
2+ years in new product development or product engineering.
Ability to manage projects and engage stakeholders effectively.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience interpreting standards, regulations or compliance.

Responsibilities

Lead development, testing, validation, and implementation of new insulation/ventilation products.
Interpret regulatory requirements and standards for compliant solutions.
Manage projects from concept to commercialisation.
Evaluate materials, technologies, and suppliers for performance and cost.
Conduct testing, prototyping, trials, and performance assessments.
Provide technical guidance across sales, marketing, operations and supply chain.
Develop and maintain technical docs, specs, and validation reports.
Monitor market trends to inform future roadmaps.
