Job summary

CSR is seeking a Solutions Innovation Manager to drive the identification, adaptation, and integration of innovative products into CSR's building portfolio. You will lead cross-functional teams to convert market opportunities into commercially viable building solutions, accelerating growth across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Innovation & Product Development Manager, you will manage multiple initiatives, ensuring compliance with local and international standards while delivering

Qualifications

  • Degree qualifications in Engineering (Chemical), Materials Science, Product Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years' experience in building products, building systems, innovation, product management, portfolio development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success delivering commercially viable product or system development initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of building products, Australian testing requirements, compliance, and regulatory standards.
  • Proven project management capability with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and integration of innovative building products and systems into the CSR portfolio.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical, and category teams to identify customer needs, market opportunities, and portfolio gaps.
  • Manage a pipeline of product and system integration projects through a structured stage-gate process.
  • Work closely with local and international technical and compliance teams to ensure products meet local and international standards.
  • Develop compelling value propositions that communicate product performance, sustainability, compliance, and customer benefits.
  • Analyse market trends, customer requirements, and competitor offerings to drive strategic product decisions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, suppliers, industry experts, and regulatory bodies.
  • Contribute to business cases, budgets, and investment proposals that support profitable growth initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced Solutions Innovation Manager to drive the identification, adaptation, and integration of innovative products into CSR's portfolio of building products and systems.

This newly created opportunity will play a critical role in accelerating growth, expanding our market offering, and strengthening our leadership position across Australia and New Zealand.

About the Role

Reporting to the Innovation & Product Development Manager, you will lead the evaluation and integration of products and technologies that enhance CSR's systems portfolio. Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Technical, Compliance, and Operations teams, you will convert market opportunities into commercially successful building solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and integration of innovative building products and systems into the CSR portfolio.

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience partnering with technical, manufacturing, and commercial teams to bring new solutions to market.
