Job summary

303, a Perth-based full-service integrated communications agency, seeks a Product Designer to shape intuitive digital products for diverse clients. You will work across research, user experience, interaction and interface design, partnering with strategy, creative, development and clients from problem definition through to delivery.

Role purpose

Design intuitive, useful and visually compelling digital products and experiences for 303 clients. The Product Designer works across research, user experience, interaction and interface design, partnering with strategy, creative, development and clients from problem definition through to delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Translate user needs, business objectives and technical constraints into clear experience and interface solutions.
• Plan and contribute to discovery activities including stakeholder interviews, user research, competitive reviews and journey mapping.
• Create information architecture, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Develop and maintain design systems, component libraries and reusable patterns where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design intent is understood and delivered accurately.
• Test and iterate concepts based on user feedback, data, technical input and client requirements.
• Apply accessibility, responsive-design and usability principles throughout the design process.
• Present design rationale clearly to internal teams and clients and respond constructively to feedback.
• Work with creative teams to ensure digital experiences express the brand consistently and effectively.
• Contribute product and experience thinking to pitches, workshops and proactive client opportunities.

Experience and capability

• 6+ years experience
• Bachelor's degree in Product Design, UX/UI Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• Professional experience in product design, UX/UI design or digital experience design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end digital design thinking and polished interface craft.
• Advanced capability with Figma or equivalent contemporary design/prototyping tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centred design, responsive design, accessibility and design systems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, particularly with developers and client stakeholders.

Salary range $90-$95k inclusive
