Job summary

IBC Recruitment seeks an experienced Product Owner / Delivery Lead to join a financial services transformation program in Sydney on a 6-month contract. You will drive delivery across business, product and technology with external vendors.

You will own and prioritise backlogs, translate objectives into delivery plans, manage dependencies and blockers, and lead end-to-end delivery across the ecosystem with a hybrid work arrangement.

The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Product Owner / Delivery Lead to join a financial services transformation program.
This is a key delivery role working across business, product, technology and delivery, with responsibility for driving outcomes across a complex ecosystem.
The focus is on finding someone with strong delivery capability experience.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, Business Analysts, technology teams and external vendors to prioritise work, manage and ensure successful delivery.

We are looking for an experienced Product (Delivery) Owner

• Strong financial services experience.


• Proven experience delivering technology or business transformation.


• Strong Product Owner and/or Delivery Lead capability.


• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments and competing priorities.


• Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end technology delivery lifecycle.


• Experience working with implementation partners, systems integrators or vendors.


• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.


• The ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels.


• A pragmatic, outcome‑focused approach to delivery.


• The ability to work across multiple business and technology domains.
