Job summary

IBC Recruitment seeks an experienced Product Owner / Delivery Lead to join a financial services transformation program in Sydney on a 6-month contract. You will drive delivery across business, product and technology with external vendors.

You will own and prioritise backlogs, translate objectives into delivery plans, manage dependencies and blockers, and lead end-to-end delivery across the ecosystem with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Extensive financial services delivery experience.
• Proven delivery of technology or business transformation.
• Strong Product Owner / Delivery Lead capability.
• Experience managing complex stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and prioritise product backlogs and delivery outcomes.
• Drive delivery across complex financial services technology environments.
• Translate business objectives into clear priorities, requirements and delivery plans.
• Manage competing priorities, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, Testers and business stakeholders.
• Manage and challenge external implementation partners and vendors.
• Take ownership of delivery outcomes across the wider ecosystem.
• Identify and resolve blockers and cross-functional dependencies.
• Facilitate decision-making across business and technology stakeholders.
• Ensure requirements and analysis provide sufficient clarity for development and testing.
• Provide leadership across the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, quality and ways of working.
