Job summary

Qantas Airways is seeking a Product Analyst - Identity to bridge business needs and technology within the Identity & Access Management domain. You will support delivery and continuously improve identity capabilities across the Qantas Group, while governing partners to ensure features meet requirements and service levels.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across business, security and tech teams, using Jira and Confluence to align processes with governance and drive data-driven decisions.

As the Product Analyst - Identity, you will work with business stakeholders, security teams, technology domains and external partners to act as a conduit between business and technology. You will support the delivery and continuous improvement of identity capabilities across the Qantas Group.

Your role will work with the organisation to help stakeholders improve their processes and systems and support the delivery of new features, enhancements and initiatives. You will also govern service partners to ensure product features are delivered to commitments, meets business requirements and service levels. As the Product Analyst, you will have a customer-centric mindset with a drive for continuous improvement and innovation.

What You’ll Bring:
  • 5+ years' experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, Product Analysis, IT Support or related disciplines, with 3+ years' experience working within Identity and Access Management, Privileged Access Management or Cyber Security domains.
  • Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting and analysing business, functional and access requirements, including application onboarding, access models, entitlements, roles, approval workflows and product requirements management.
  • Proven track record operating in IT delivery environments from concept through to BAU, applying modern delivery frameworks and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with experience working with data sets to derive actionable insights, support business cases and drive informed decision-making.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, collaboration and communication skills, with experience working across business, security and technology teams, utilising tools such as Jira and Confluence, and aligning business processes with enterprise technology and governance requirements.
